同。或執離心無別心所。為遮此等種種異執。令於唯識深妙理中得如實解故造斯論。

[others] hold that apart from the mind there are no distinct mental factors (caitta). To refute these various divergent attachments, and to enable [practitioners] to attain understanding in accordance with reality within the profound and subtle principle of vijñapti-mātra, this treatise was composed.
