四皆容與五受相應者。謂四不定非俱時生。意與五受亦非並起。非為一時一切相應。容有前後相應之義。故於此彼皆置容言。

"All four admit of association with the five feelings": this means that the four indeterminate factors do not arise simultaneously, and the mental consciousness also does not arise simultaneously with all five feelings. They are not all associated at one and the same time; there is only the sense of their admitting of association successively. Therefore, 'admit' is stated with respect to both this and that.
