有說本事廣論未譯但錄名等者。若有廣論此但錄名不名別論。何故題中云百法論。若廣論中錄名數者。應言論中略錄名數。寧言分中錄名數也。由此故如是妄言耳。

Regarding "some say that the extensive treatise of fundamental matters was not translated, but only the names were recorded," etc.: If there were an extensive treatise and this merely recorded the names, it would not be called an independent treatise. Why then does the title say "Treatise on the Hundred Dharmas"? If it were an excerpt of names and numbers from an extensive treatise, it should say "names and numbers briefly recorded from the treatise." Why would it say "names and numbers recorded from a section"? Therefore, such [a claim] is mere reckless talk.
