1.75

論。此識有二至生一切法　述曰。上來就體總標。是次下第二依義別釋。於中有三。初顯是心生滅。次明生滅因緣。後辨生滅之相。初中亦三。初開數辨德。二寄門別名。三依名辨釋。此初也。由此識有覺不覺義隨境能攝染淨諸法。二義互熏能生一切染淨果法。

[Treatise:] "This consciousness has two […] gives rise to all dharmas." [Commentary:] The above was an overall indication in terms of essence; next, the second [part] is a separate explanation based on the meaning. Here there are three: first, revealing that this is the mind of arising and ceasing; next, clarifying the causes and conditions of arising and ceasing; finally, distinguishing the marks of arising and ceasing. The first also has three: first, opening the categories and distinguishing the virtues; second, setting up the approaches and distinguishing the names; third, distinguishing and explaining according to the names. This is the first. Because this consciousness has the meanings of awakening and non-awakening, in accordance with the objective realm it can gather all defiled and pure dharmas; and the mutual perfuming of the two meanings can give rise to all defiled and pure resultant dharmas.
