2.115

論。以說不究竟至妄取涅槃　述曰。此正明執相也。由其顯蘊體亦空。說未了故。彼二乘者未亡法執。見有五陰生滅實法故。怖生死妄取涅槃。

[Treatise:] "Because the teaching was not exhaustive, [they falsely grasp nirvāṇa...]" [Commentary:] This directly clarifies the characteristics of the attachment. Because revealing that the essence of the skandhas is also empty was not an exhaustive teaching, those of the two vehicles have not eliminated attachment to dharmas. Seeing real dharmas of arising and ceasing in the five aggregates, they fear saṃsāra and falsely grasp nirvāṇa.
