論。解行發心者當知轉勝。述曰。次下第二解行發心。於中有二。初顯解業所得發心。後顯發心所行解行。初中有二。初總標欲勝。後顯其勝相。此初也。解謂十解。行謂十行。苦心謂即入十向住前。但依信而起於行。令此依解而起於行。即轉信心為勝解性故名轉勝。

[Treatise:] Generating the aspiration through understanding and practice should be known as increasingly superior.
[Exposition:] Next, the second [section]: generating the aspiration through understanding and practice. Within this, there are two parts: first, revealing the aspiration attained through understanding and karma; later, revealing the understanding and practice performed by that aspiration. The former has two parts: first, generally indicating that it is superior; later, revealing its superior characteristics. This is the first. 'Understanding' refers to the ten understandings (dwellings); 'practice' refers to the ten practices. The mind of dedication refers to entering the ten dedications. Prior to the dwellings, one raises practice based solely on faith; now, one raises practice based on understanding. That is, transforming the nature of faith into the nature of superior understanding, it is called 'increasingly superior.'
