論。又是菩薩至微細之相　述曰。次下第二顯發心相。於中有二。初顯細標數。後列名釋相。此初也。顯此發心勝於前住。難測知故言微細相。

[Treatise:] Furthermore, this bodhisattva [has three kinds of] subtle marks. [Commentary:] Second, below this, the characteristics of this aspiration are revealed. Within this there are two parts: first, revealing the subtlety and indicating the number; afterwards, listing the names and explaining the marks. This is the first. It reveals that this aspiration surpasses the previous abodes and is difficult to fathom and know; hence it is called "subtle marks."
