[Treatise:] Third, having faith in the Dharma ... the pāramitās. [Commentary:] This is having faith that there is the practice for attaining Buddhahood. Because the Buddha is accomplished relying on the Dharma, it is explained next. Among the four dharmas of teaching, principle, practice, and fruition, previously principle and fruition were clarified; this is having faith in practice. Since one must certainly believe through teaching before one has faith in these three, having faith in the teaching is also revealed herein.
