4.126

論。三者聞修至功德之法　釋曰。此第三我見之中初明起執之由也。即如來藏同性等經為欲破彼著空眾生。說如來藏具體相大。

[Treatise:] Third, hearing that [the sūtras teach that the tathāgatagarbha has no arising and no ceasing, and inherently possesses all] dharmas of virtue—
[Commentary:] "Explication": Under this third view of self, it first explains the origin of the arising of attachment. That is, sūtras such as the *Tathāgatagarbhasūtra* and the *Samadharmasūtra*, desiring to refute those sentient beings attached to emptiness, teach that the tathāgatagarbha possesses the greatness of substance and attributes.
