5.123

論。若復有人至之所受記　釋曰。次下別顯三惠益相。於中有三。初文惠益。次思惠益。後修惠益。此初也。真如本覺是佛正因。體會成佛方能說法。所說之法是此等流。聞而喜悅不堪修行。當知此人已成佛種當得成佛。決定無損故為諸佛之所受記也。

[Treatise:] If again a person [hears this Dharma, is not afraid or timid, and knows that they will certainly inherit the Buddha's fruit, they will receive a prediction from all the buddhas.]
[Commentary:] Below separately reveals the characteristics of the benefits of the three wisdoms. In this there are three: first, the benefit of the wisdom gained through listening; next, the benefit of the wisdom gained through thinking; and finally, the benefit of the wisdom gained through cultivating. This is the first. Tathatā and original awakening are the true causes of buddhahood. Only when one experientially realizes them and becomes a buddha can one preach the Dharma. The Dharma preached is an outflow of this. If, upon hearing it, one is joyful and not daunted in cultivating it, one should know that this person has already achieved the seed of buddhahood and will certainly attain buddhahood. Because it is definitely without loss, they receive a prediction from all the buddhas.
