5.131

論。是故眾生應勤修學　釋曰。已顯損益。此總結勸修也。是毀謗者自害害他成大損。眾生欲求自利利他成大益者。於此論中應勤修學。故新論云。是故欲求自利利他殊勝行者。當於此論勤加修學。

Treatise: "Therefore, sentient beings should diligently cultivate and study [this]." / Commentary: Having revealed the harm and benefit, this is a concluding exhortation to cultivate. Those who slander cause great harm by harming themselves and others; sentient beings who wish to seek to benefit themselves and benefit others to accomplish great benefit should diligently cultivate and study this treatise. Therefore, the new translation says: "Therefore, those who wish to seek the supreme practice of benefiting oneself and benefiting others should diligently cultivate and study this treatise."
