1.24

上開章中直言覺不覺。覺者本覺眾性。不覺者則屬始覺隨緣門中。隨緣門者生賊也。答。覺者約性德。

In the preceding opening of the chapter, it directly spoke of enlightenment and non-enlightenment. Enlightenment is original enlightenment, the nature of sentient beings. Non-enlightenment belongs to initial enlightenment within the aspect of following conditions. The aspect of following conditions produces thieves. Reply: Enlightenment is spoken of in terms of nature-virtues.
