1.15

佛藏經云　舍利弗。我法無諸難事。不乏飲食臥具醫藥。汝等但當懃行佛道。莫貴世間財利供養。舍利弗。汝今善聽。我當語汝。若有一心行道比丘。千億天神皆共同心以諸樂具欲共供養。舍利弗。諸人供養坐禪。比丘不及天神。

The Buddhapiṭaka-sūtra states: "Śāriputra, in my Dharma there are no difficult circumstances; there is no lack of food, drink, bedding, or medicine. You all should only diligently practice the Buddha's path and not value mundane material gains and offerings. Śāriputra, listen well now, and I shall tell you: if there is a monk who practices the Path single-mindedly, hundreds of billions of devas will all with one mind desire to make offerings to him with various instruments of joy. Śāriputra, offerings made by humans to a monk who sits in meditation do not equal those made by devas."
