1.41

佛告大惠。彼人愚癡不知。言說是生是滅。義不生滅。一切言說墮於文字。義則不墮。離有離無故。無生無體故。

The Buddha addressed Mahāmati: "Those people are foolish and do not know that verbal explanations are arising and ceasing, while the ultimate meaning does not arise or cease. All verbal explanations fall into letters, but the meaning does not fall [into them], because it is free from existence and free from non-existence, and because it is unproduced and without substantial entity."
