及福智二十波羅蜜者。謂顯十度皆有福德智慧二性。此義即約前引於後。後淨前說以約別相。前五福德後五智慧。若約引淨通相而說。皆具福知。

Regarding "as well as the twenty pāramitās of merit and wisdom": this reveals that each of the ten pāramitās possesses the two natures of merit and wisdom. This meaning is explained in terms of the earlier leading to the later, and the later purifying the earlier; in terms of distinct characteristics, the first five are merit and the latter five are wisdom. If explained in terms of the general characteristics of leading and purifying, all possess both merit and wisdom.
