此位菩薩行六度等者。同三世佛悟空寂理。而能起彼無住妙行名諸行勝。故花嚴云。此菩薩行不可思議。與法界虛空等。學三世佛而修行故。名之為行。

'Bodhisattvas in this stage practicing the six pāramitās', and so forth: identical with the Buddhas of the three periods of time, they awaken to the principle of emptiness and calm, and being able to give rise to that wondrous practice of non-abiding, it is named 'all practices being superior'. Therefore the Avataṃsaka says: 'The practices of this bodhisattva are inconceivable, equal to the realm of phenomena and empty space. Because they emulate the Buddhas of the three periods of time and cultivate practice, it is named 'practice'.'
