一真見道體離等者。此釋真見有其二義。前解真者即是實義。以此智見有實用故。此見即真名真見道。持業釋也。後解即約理智不同。真之見故名為真見。依主釋也。

"First, the true path of seeing is in its essence free from..." and so forth: this explains the true seeing as having two meanings. The former explains "true" as having the meaning of real, because this cognitive seeing has real function. This seeing is itself true, so it is called the true path of seeing; this is a karmadhāraya compound. The latter explanation is based on the difference between principle and wisdom: because it is the seeing of the true, it is called true seeing; this is a tatpuruṣa compound.
