1.89

無倒加行皆不唐捐者。所修六度名曰加行。行不求報即名無倒。行無倒行皆於佛果為勝因力無虛棄也。

Regarding “uninverted application is never in vain”: the cultivation of the six pāramitās is called “application.” Practicing without seeking reward is called “uninverted.” Performing uninverted practices always serves as a superior causal power for the fruit of Buddhahood, never wasted in vain.
