樹非生死葉　池無愛見波
舊會聲聞少　新來正士多
蓮中胎化雜　音內苦空和
五門能早建　三界豈難過

The trees bear no leaves of saṃsāra;
The ponds have no waves of attachment and views.
In the ancient assembly, śrāvakas were few;
Among the newly arrived, true beings are many.
Within the lotuses, womb-born and transformational are mingled;
In the sounds, suffering and emptiness harmonize.
If the five gates can be established early on,
How could traversing the three realms be difficult?
