普共道場敬三寶　地獄寒心不忍聞
一墮此苦恒沙劫　不知年歲永沈淪
遍身猛火鑽心出　五百銅狗競來分
灰河一日千迴度　猶被拔舌絞刀輪
眾生如何不念佛　故故將身入苦門

Let all together in the bodhimanda revere the Three Jewels: / The hells chill the heart, unbearable even to hear of. / Once fallen into such suffering for kalpas numerous as the sands of the Ganges, / Unaware of passing years, one sinks forever in perdition. / Over the whole body raging fires drill out from the heart; / Five hundred bronze hounds race to tear one apart. / Crossing the river of boiling ashes a thousand times a day, / One's tongue is still pulled out, entangled in wheels of blades. / How can sentient beings not practice recitation of the Buddha's name, / Deliberately casting their bodies into the gates of suffering?
