釋迦慈心遍法界　蠢動含識普昏怜
意欲化令俱解脫　眾生罪業共無緣
所以總教歸淨土　彌陀宿昔有深因
非但娑婆人獨往　他方去者亦無邊

Śākya's compassionate mind encompasses the realm of phenomena; / All wriggling and sentient beings he universally pities. / His intention is to transform them so that all attain liberation, / Yet the karmic offenses of sentient beings lack the necessary conditions. / Therefore he universally instructs them to return to the Pure Land, / For Amitābha has deep causes formed in past kalpas. / Not only do people of the Sahā world go there alone; / Those departing from other realms are likewise boundless.
