深勸諸行人等。若寫此法事儀之時。皆須護淨好紙真書。依經抄寫。如法裝潢。不得麁紙草書。此並是滅佛法之相。障生淨土。永劫沈淪。切須誡慎。何以故。此中有彌陀觀經不應輕慢。應知此患願勿為之。即福利無邊。皆霑上品矣。

I profoundly exhort all practitioners: whenever you copy this ritual liturgy, you must protect purity, use fine paper, and write in standard script, transcribing according to the sūtras and mounting them according to the Dharma. You must not use coarse paper or cursive script. These are both marks of destroying the Buddha-Dharma, obstructing rebirth in the Pure Land, and sinking in samsara for eternal kalpas. You must strictly be cautious and heedful. Why is this? Because this contains the Contemplation Sūtra of Amitābha, which should not be treated with slight or disrespect. Knowing this disaster, may you never do so; then the blessings and benefits will be boundless, and all will partake in the highest grade.
