3.51

一願眾生普修道　二願一切莫生疑
三願袈裟來掛體　四願莫著女人身
五願粧粉終身斷　六願素面見如來
七願三塗離罪苦　八願捨離去慳財
九願眾生敬三寶　十願一切法門開
十一願眾生勤念佛　十四願總菿佛前朝
十五願西方生淨土　更莫閻浮重受胎

First, I vow that sentient beings universally cultivate the Way; / second, I vow that all will give rise to no doubts. / Third, I vow that the kaṣāya will drape over our bodies; / fourth, I vow never to assume a woman's body. / Fifth, I vow that makeup and powder will be discontinued for life; / sixth, I vow to see the Tathāgata with a plain face. / Seventh, I vow that the three wretched paths be freed from sinful suffering; / eighth, I vow to abandon and cast away stinginess with wealth. / Ninth, I vow that sentient beings revere the Three Jewels; / tenth, I vow that all Dharma-gates be opened. / Eleventh, I vow that sentient beings diligently recite the Buddha's name; / […] / fourteenth, I vow that all will arrive before the Buddha in audience; / fifteenth, I vow to be born into the Pure Land in the West, / and never again take a womb in Jambudvīpa.
