"Śāriputra, in the southern world, there are Candrasūryapradīpa Buddha, Yaśaḥprabha Buddha, Mahārciskandha Buddha, Merupradīpa Buddha, Anantavīrya Buddha, and Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges such as these. Each in his own land extends the sign of a broad and long tongue that covers the trichiliocosm, speaking these truthful words: 'You sentient beings should believe in this Sūtra Praising Inconceivable Virtues and Protected by All Buddhas.'
