八功德水淨諸塵　灌掌去垢心無染
奉持禁戒無缺犯　一切眾生悉如是

The water of eight merits purifies all defilements;
Poured over the palms, it removes dirt, leaving the mind untainted.
We uphold the prohibitive precepts without flaw or transgression;
May all sentient beings likewise do so.
