中夜無常偈　眾等各各觀身處。骨肉巾皮相浮堅。地水火風假成身。四大分散元無主。一函臭肉變成疽。散分爛𭶦從灰土。

Midnight impermanence gāthā:
"Let the assembly each observe the place of the body:
Bones, flesh, sinews, and skin, appearing superficial or solid.
Earth, water, fire, and wind falsely constitute the body;
When the four great elements disperse, there is fundamentally no master.
A single box of foul flesh turns into a festering ulcer,
Scattered parts rotting away into ash and earth."
