2.28

善男子。復有四法。得先因力。不失善根。何等為四。一者見他人闕。不以為愚。二者於瞋怒人。常修慈心。三者常說諸因緣。四者常念無上菩提。是名為四。

"Good son, there are furthermore four dharmas by which one obtains the power of past causes and does not lose roots of goodness. What are the four? First, seeing others' deficiencies without regarding them as fools; second, constantly cultivating a compassionate mind toward angry people; third, constantly expounding causes and conditions; fourth, constantly being mindful of unexcelled bodhi. These are named the four.
