2.32

善男子。復有四法。不斷佛性。何等為四。一者為諸眾生。不退本願。二者受信施行。三者大欲精進。四者常能深心。行於佛道。是名為四。菩薩摩訶薩遊於三界。行種種行。利益眾生。常修出世。不斷佛性。

"Good son, there are furthermore four dharmas by which one does not sever buddhadhātu. What are the four? First, for the sake of sentient beings, not regressing from one's original vow; second, receiving faith and practicing giving; third, possessing great aspiration and vigorous effort; fourth, constantly being able with a profound mind to practice the Buddha-path. These are named the four. When a bodhisattva-mahāsattva travels among the three realms, he carries out various practices to benefit sentient beings, ever cultivating what is supramundane without severing the buddhadhātu."
