3.32

佛告文殊師利。若有比丘。比丘尼。菩薩。清信士女。沙彌。沙彌尼。失心錯亂。身犯如是。一一禁戒。如是懺悔。若不滅罪。無有是處。除不至心。

The Buddha told Mañjuśrī: "If there are bhikṣus, bhikṣuṇīs, bodhisattvas, laymen and laywomen of pure faith, śrāmaṇeras, or śrāmaṇerīs who lose their minds, become confused, and personally violate each and every such restrictive precept, and if they repent like this, that they should not eradicate their sins is impossible—except if they are not wholeheartedly sincere."
