When the names of these great bodhisattvas were proclaimed, eighty-eight billion pure men and women of faith awakened to the fruit of anāgāmin; ninety-four billion devas attained the fruit of sakṛdāgāmin; seventy-eight billion deranged monks recovered their original minds and awakened to the fruit of arhat; and one billion bodhisattvas attained the great dhāraṇī and will accomplish the Buddha Path in future lives.
