"Having chanted this, when that person's life ends, they will not go to the three wretched destinies. According to their wish and pleasure, they can attain rebirth in any of the worlds of the ten directions. They will attend upon the Buddhas, see the Bodhisattvas Mañjuśrī and Samantabhadra expounding the Mahāyāna Great Universal Vaipulya, and having heard the Dharma, they will immediately attain anutpattikadharmakṣānti. Good son, if a person over vast kalpas has broadly cultivated the various practices and deeply planted roots of goodness, they will now be able to hear these names of the Three Jewels."
