1.21

佛告文殊：「汝今觀察，一住、二住乃至十住、一生補處，諸方菩薩各當其位勿相雜錯。所以者何？吾今欲與諸大士說不思議法。今此大眾清淨無雜，寄生枝葉亦無穢惡。」

The Buddha told Mañjuśrī: "Observe now: from the first stage, the second stage, up to the tenth stage, and the state of being bound to one more birth, the bodhisattvas of the various directions each occupy their proper ranks without being intermingled. Why is this? I now wish to expound the inconceivable Dharma to these mahāsattvas. Now this great assembly is pure and unmixed, and parasitical branches and leaves also have no defilement or evil."
