身觀菩薩白佛言：「如來身者，為是化非眾生耶？若是化者，無有塵勞眾生之趣。設從眾生有如來身者，塵勞之垢非如來種乎？」

Bodhisattva Kāya-vipaśyanā addressed the Buddha, saying: "As for the body of the Tathāgata, is it an apparition, not a sentient being? If it were an apparition, there would be no realm of sentient beings with affliction. If the Tathāgata's body arises from sentient beings, are not the defilements of affliction the seed of the Tathāgata?"
