佛告喜見菩薩：「云何？喜見！汝從無數阿僧祇劫，承事諸佛禮事、供養、香花、幡蓋，頗見如來取般涅槃不？」

The Buddha told Priyadarśana Bodhisattva: "What do you think, Priyadarśana? In serving, revering, and making offerings of fragrant flowers, banners, and canopies to the Buddhas through countless asaṃkhyeya kalpas, have you ever seen a Tathāgata enter parinirvāṇa?"
