彌勒白佛言：「亦過去、現在、未來。何以故？皆從諸剎往至彼土，諸緣盡眾生盡得度脫故，現有現在。」
Maitreya addressed the Buddha, saying, "He is also past, present, and future. Why is that? Because they all go to that land from various Buddha-lands, and because the sentient beings whose conditions are exhausted all attain deliverance, he is manifest in the present."
