爾時，座中有菩薩名曰無住法行，即從坐起偏露右臂，右膝著地叉手前白佛言：「善哉，善哉！此諸大會快得善利，得聞如來無量法義，昔所誓願今乃得聞。」即於佛前以偈歎曰：

At that time, within the assembly there was a bodhisattva named Practice of the Dharma of Non-Abiding, who rose from his seat, bared his right shoulder, knelt with his right knee on the ground, joined his palms, and addressed the Buddha, saying: "Excellent, excellent! This great assembly has indeed gained wonderful benefit, being able to hear the Tathāgata's immeasurable Dharma meanings, which we vowed in the past to hear and only now have heard!" He then praised the Buddha in verse, saying:
