3.55

「覺佛出世間，遠放大光明；
苦、集、滅結使，獨立無敢近。
正使地振動，三界猶若塵；
執心入定意，眾相各不異。
如來至真念，除想不入定；
還入眾生中，因造更造緣。
精進勇慧智，化導愚癡人；
導引眾生類，可度不度者。」

"The Awakened Buddha appears in the world, / emitting great radiance afar;
extinguishing the fetters of duḥkha and samudaya, / he stands alone, with none daring to approach.
Even if the earth should shake / and the three realms be reduced to dust,
one who maintains the mind and enters samādhi / sees the various marks as each not different.
Mindful of the ultimate reality, the Tathāgata / eliminates conceptual thought without entering dhyāna;
returning into the midst of living beings, / through created causes he further creates conditions.
With vigor, courage, and wisdom, / he transforms and guides foolish people;
leading the kinds of living beings, / those who can be delivered and those who cannot."
