4.46

爾時，世尊說此偈時，八萬四千億眾生立志堅固，皆願成佛不經後身。

When the Bhagavat spoke this gāthā, eighty-four billion sentient beings firmly established their resolve, all vowing to achieve buddhahood without passing through a future body.
