5.47

爾時，世尊說此頌時，八十四億眾生，欲得遠離六識法相，不樂生死流轉五道，發弘誓心住無識地。

At that time, when the Bhagavat spoke this verse, eighty-four hundred million sentient beings desired to stay far away from the characteristics of the six consciousnesses, took no pleasure in birth and death or transmigration through the five paths, and made the great vow to abide in the stage of no-consciousness.
