爾時，座中有菩薩名曰舉手，前白佛言：「世尊！願聞菩薩摩訶薩權變無數不可稱計。」

At that time, in the assembly there was a bodhisattva named Hand-Raiser, who stepped forward and said to the Buddha: "Bhagavat! We wish to hear about the countless, innumerable skillful transformations of the bodhisattva mahāsattvas."
