爾時世尊告根蓮花菩薩言：「善哉，善哉！根蓮花菩薩！汝所問義愍念一切，開化眾生心意識法，為盲冥者示現光明。汝今諦聽，諦聽！善思念之！」

At that time, the Bhagavat told Bodhisattva Mūlapadma: "Excellent, excellent, Bodhisattva Mūlapadma! The meaning that you inquire about takes pity on all beings, uncovering and transforming the dharmas of mind, thought, and consciousness for sentient beings, and manifesting light for those who are in blindness and darkness. Now listen closely, listen closely, and reflect upon it well!"
