爾時世尊即以神足，令彼地神從地踊出在地界立，水神從水踊出水中立，火神從火踊出火中立，風神從風踊出風中立，空神從空踊出空中立，識神從識踊出識中立。佛告善業：「此六諸神汝自問之。」

At that time the Bhagavat, by his supernatural power, caused that earth deity to emerge from the earth and stand in the realm of earth; the water deity to emerge from water and stand in water; the fire deity to emerge from fire and stand in fire; the wind deity to emerge from wind and stand in wind; the space deity to emerge from space and stand in space; and the consciousness deity to emerge from consciousness and stand in consciousness. The Buddha told Kuśalakarma: 'Ask these six spirits yourself.'
