At that time, when the Bhagavat spoke these verses, hundreds of thousands of koṭis of immeasurable sentient beings all set forth and became established on the ground of complete faith. Furthermore, there were twelve nayutas of bodhisattvas who, being on the ground of contemplative practice, did not abide in the three abodes; accomplishing realms in the right division, seventy-seven thousand koṭis of sentient beings attained avaivartika.
