"Or there are bodhisattvas who act together with them in that assembly as good friends, speaking to them of the pleasure of killing being hard to forget: 'How delightful is killing, diminishing your lifespan and increasing my lifespan!' Later, they gradually explain to them that the retribution for killing is extremely heavy, and expound the one hundred and eight grave offenses of killing as suffering and affliction, guiding them to enter and abide in the restraint of the Path, free from desire and ignorance, immediately accomplishing the unsurpassed Path within the womb.
