'The Tathāgata, the Honoured One of Ten Powers, is boundless as empty space;
His powers of patience, wisdom, and meritorious karma, and the power of his vows are supreme.
You will be born in a joyful land, unlike the suffering of my realm;
Your expounding of the Dharma will be exceedingly easy; my expounding of the Dharma is exceedingly difficult.
In your first assembly you will preach to ninety-six [billion],
In your second assembly to ninety-four,
And in your third assembly to ninety-two.
In my first assembly I preached to twelve,
In my second assembly to twenty-four,
And in my third assembly to thirty-six.
The people of your three assemblies are those whom I previously transformed;
Your father, Brahmāviśuddha, leading eighty-four thousand,
Are not those whom I previously transformed, but will be enlightened and delivered by you.
The ninety-six billion people are those who received my five precepts;
The ninety-four billion people are those who took and upheld the three refuges;
The ninety-two billion people are those who once chanted "Namo Buddhāya".
In my first assembly there were one thousand monks and twenty-four billion devas;
In the third, thirty-six billion—such were the sentient beings delivered.
You will have ease while I had diligent toil; you will have leisurely ease while I had pure vigor.'
