"At that time, King Yama interrogates them on these five matters, and then commands the hell wardens to punish them according to whether their sins are light or heavy. Among those sinners, those who hear the sound of the Buddha-Dharma have their sins extinguished and merits produced, returning to human form to cultivate pure conduct. This is called the retribution of sentient beings of the six destinies, which is thus."
