25.17

「願弟子等，承是懺悔一切諸惡所生功德，願生生世世慈和忠孝，謙卑自辱知廉識恥，先意問訊循良貞謹清潔義讓，遠離惡友常遇善緣，攝守六根敬護三業，捍勞忍苦心不退沒，立菩提志荷負眾生。」

We pray that we disciples, relying on the merits produced from performing kṣamā for all evils, may in life after life be compassionate, gentle, loyal, and filial, humble and self-effacing, knowing integrity and shame, greeting others proactively, being upright, honest, chaste, prudent, pure, righteous, and yielding, staying far away from evil friends and constantly meeting good conditions, guarding the six sense faculties and reverently protecting the three karmas, withstanding toil and enduring suffering with an unfaltering mind, establishing the resolve for bodhi, and bearing the burden of all sentient beings."
