"Fourth, regarding generating the bodhicitta: a sūtra says: 'One should delight in the body of the Buddha.' The Buddha's body is none other than the Dharmakāya. It is born of measureless merit and wisdom; born of the six pāramitās; born of loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity; born of the thirty-seven factors contributing to awakening; born of such various kinds of merit and wisdom is the body of the Tathāgata. Those who wish to obtain this body should generate the bodhicitta to seek omniscience, the fruit of sarvajña which is permanence, bliss, self, and purity, to purify the Buddha-fields and bring sentient beings to maturity, begrudging nothing of their body, life, or wealth.
