The Buddha told the bhikṣu: "Suppose there is another person who takes that number of fine dust mote Buddha lands as a single step, and traveling with such swift supernormal power through the worlds of the eastern direction for immeasurable and boundless kalpas, in this way deposits a single fine dust mote in an eastern world, exhausting such fine dust motes in the east; and if all those worlds, whether having had a dust mote placed in them or not, were filled completely with fine dust motes down to the water limit and up to Bhavāgra; and likewise for the southern direction and on up through the ten directions, down to the water limit and up to Bhavāgra, all were filled completely with fine dust motes—bhikṣu, what do you think? Could the number of those fine dust motes be known?"
