"May we disciples, by relying on the merit and goodness generated from this kṣamā of sins such as the Avīci offenses, in life after life extinguish the five heinous sins and eliminate the delusions of an icchantika. Sins both light and grave such as these, from now onward until we reach the bodhimaṇḍa, we vow never to commit again. May we constantly practice pure and good supramundane dharmas, strictly uphold the rules of vinaya, and guard our deportment. Like one crossing an ocean cherishing an inflatable float, may the six perfections (ṣaṭ pāramitāḥ) and four immeasurables constantly stand foremost in our practice; may the aggregates of moral discipline, concentration, and wisdom become ever more bright; and may we swiftly accomplish the Tathāgata's thirty-two marks, eighty minor signs, ten powers, fearlessnesses, great compassion, three mindful applications, the constant bliss of wondrous wisdom, and the eight masteries over the self."
